We didn't start at the top...
Kids Inc started in 1999, hit pause in 2016, and got a major glow-up in 2017 when Charlotte and Paolo Borghesi brought it back as Kidzink!
Since then, we’ve gone way beyond furniture—designing entire schools, launching Konstruct for fit-outs, Koda for architecture, and setting up shop worldwide.
Oh, and we’ve worked with some of the best school brands in the world. No big deal.
Humble Beginnings (1999-2016)
'Kidz Inc' was founded in 1999 (the Burj Al Arab opened the same year!!), with its first project furnishing Emirates National School Barsha.
After nearly two decades, the company closed in 2016 following the owner’s retirement.
A new chapter begins...
In 2017, Charlotte and Paolo Borghesi acquired the license and rebranded as Kidzink, marking the start of a new journey in educational design.

Building, Designing, and Expanding
We started by opening our first factory, giving us full control over how school furniture is made.
From there, we took on our first full school project in Hamilton, Qatar, and our first ID consultant role at RGSGD, before creating our first fully integrated school design at DBS Jumeira—seamlessly blending architecture, interiors, and furniture into one game-changing project. (Adam even made us a nice new logo!)
As we grew, we expanded into fit-outs with Konstruct, and in early 2023, we launched Koda, bringing architecture, curriculum planning, and project management into the mix—taking our school design expertise to the next level.
Growing Across the Globe
Our first project in Saudi Arabia, NEOM, marked the start of an exciting expansion into new markets.
As demand for innovative school design grew, so did we—opening offices in KSA, the UK, and Spain, strengthening our global presence and bringing our expertise to even more learning environments.
Manufacturing: Bigger, Better, and Built to Last
As we took on more and more projects we quickly realised we needed more space, more machines, and more coffee—so we moved to a bigger factory in DIC and ramped up production!
From upholstery to custom builds, we kept adding new capabilities to fine-tune every detail.
Now, we’re taking it to the next level with the construction of our OWN factory (opening now!), securing our future in high-quality, locally crafted furniture—because if you want something done right, build the factory yourself!
Where we are today...
Now having worked on 450+ projects in 23+ countries, Kidzink continues to push the boundaries of educational design—from bespoke furniture to complete school environments.
