We are delighted to announce that Rashid and Latifa School, a campus for members of the UAE’s founding family, has been shortlisted twice for the 16th World Architecture Festival (WAF) 2025:

This project, designed by the Kidzink Office of Design and Architecture (KODA) and built in just seven months, highlights a bold new direction for school design in the MENA region, combining cultural integrity, wellness, nature, modular innovation, and learner-first thinking.

Drawing inspiration from the Emirati settlement patterns, the campus is made up of connected buildings under one roof. Each gender-specific wing is centered around a courtyard, creating a sense of community and balance. From the materials used to the breakout spaces and cultural details, we turned every part of the school into a learning opportunity. The overall layout is designed to support well-being and help students shift between focus, interaction, and rest with ease.

This year's shortlist includes 235 completed buildings, 157 future projects, and 64 interior designs, celebrating architectural excellence from around the world.

We're looking forward to showcasing our project LIVE at World Architecture Festival's debut in the USA, located in Miami Beach Convention Centre from 12-14 November 2025.

A heartfelt congratulations to our team and clients for making this possible. See the full shortlist here: World Architecture Festival 2025 - Shortlist 2025
